GRANBY PARK VISIT (2nd Class)

Granby Park
On Friday the 20th of September Claire’s 2nd Class, Ruth’s 3rd Class and Carol’s 6th Class visited Granby Park. We walked about one kilometre to get there.
We went to get some ideas for our own school garden.
We really enjoyed the playground. The swing was great fun. We worked together directing water using guttering. The tunnel made out of tyres was fantastic too. Some children took a bit of time out on the comfortable couch.
2nd Class took the opportunity to perform a song on the stage constructed out of pallets. We had to battle with a cango hammer to be heard! After that we spent a few quiet moments reading to ourselves in the lovely library area.
We got great ideas from our visit and we wish Granby Park was staying open forever.
