Fun on the yard

Good afternoon parents and guardians,

I hope your child has had a nice week.

We are all nicely settled back to school and ready for our first full week next Monday. The children seem to be enjoying their new classrooms and yards, and school is full of return to routine enthusiasm.

Homework Club

Dear Families,

We will be restarting Homework Club on Monday the 9th of September. Like last year, the club will run Monday – Thursday from 2.10-3.15pm and is for children from 1st -6th class. The club is run by teachers from D7ET. We have a small child to teacher ratio, which allows us to support children where needed with homework. The cost of the club is €5 per day.

GAA update

Primary schools Gaelic Football will be back on Monday Sept 9th with training after school in TUD. We have entered a Senior Boys’ and Senior Girls’ team in the Cumann na mBunscol leagues which will be up and running very soon and there is great anticipation that this will be our year to grace Croke Park for the finals. Hope springs eternal.

Keep an eye out for the permission slips going home early next week as we will need to get contact details for lifts etc.

Padraig, Niamh & Anna.

Have a lovely weekend,

Fionnuala
