3rd class still life

Good afternoon parents / guardians,

I hope you have had a nice week.

We have had an exciting visit to our new school this week. It is unimaginable that we will be there for our final term of this school year. However, the builders assure us they are on target.

We have lots to look forward to when we return after midterm. Hurling, camogie and soccer training will begin on TUDublin campus.  We are also looking forward to celebrating World Book Day on March 2nd. While we won’t be dressing up this year, we will have lots of activities that continue to inspire our bookworms in D7ETNS.  We will celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge on March 13th – 17th.

More details will follow after midterm.

‘This week, Deirdre’s class read the Irish books An Leabhar Mór Gorm and An Leabhar Mór Dearg.  The children then used their creativity ‘agus a chuid Gaeilge’ to make their own ‘leabhar beag’ books.  They did an amazing job!  Maith sibh Naíonáin Shinsearacha!’

Crochet

Thank you to everyone for our wool request. There was a fantastic response and the crafters in Ciara’s 6th class have been putting it to great use.

5th class lino prints. I think I spot one that is remarkably similar to one of our colleagues!

Meanwhile I hope you all have a lovely break and see everyone bright and early on Monday, February 20th  .
