1916 Flag Ceremony
Members of the Irish Air Corps arrived at D7ET today to present the school with an official flag for 1916. We are now 2 months away from the centenary celebrations of our independence, so the presentation was timely.
The Air Corps representatives met the Principal, staff and pupils in the yard, despite heavy rain. The Proclamation was read aloud, and a tricolour was handed over to Eli O’ Connor of Katrina’s 1st Class.
