2nd Class Poetry: Pocket Lists

2nd Class (Peadar’s) read “10 Things Found In a Wizard’s Pocket” by Ian McMillan. Afterwards,we wrote these lists for Santa’s pocket, and for a a spy’s.
The lists are a whole-class collation.

Magic dust to make reindeer fly
A half-eaten mince-pie
A Christmas tree bauble
A polar bear for company
A special sleigh screwdriver
A chimney-brush
A spare elasticated hat.
An address book (very big)
Bunch of keys (even bigger)
Sleigh-Nav
Bag of coal – but for who?

A spider-drone for sneaking through air-vents.
A sandwich-roll with a telescope inside.
Explosive chewing-gum
Geiger counter to measure presence of enemies
Newspaper with eye-holes
Lipstick gun
Tranquiliser water-pistol
A self-destroying recorder
Edible notebook
Map of sewers for escapes
Etch-a-Sketch passports.
Face paints for disguise
Suit with brick design (for camouflage)
A hole to hide in
Extra pocket-lining
