Santry Sports 23013
June 5th was annual Santry Sports Day.
D7ET have made steady progress over the past several years, as a result of Mary McKenna’s work with the school. Many of our pupils run regularly with the Celtic Athletic Club, and Mary was on hand today to give last-minute advice to our athletes.
Boys and Girls competed in side-by-side events (U-10, U-11, U-12, U-13.5 Relays and Sprints). As you can see from the pics, we were blessed with the weather, unlike the field events last week. Amongst our winners: Sophie English (Sprints U-11 Silver), Sophie English (U-11 High Jump Gold), Boys U-12 Relay Silver (Anthony Markhov, Sam O’Rourke, Ali Maxamed Mansur, Conor Hanley).
