Boxing
6th classes have already had two boxing sessions with coach Paul Quinn. This week Paul’s assistant was absent so the teachers were the punchbags, which some pupils enjoyed a little too much! All pupils are participating in the 4 week long Bronze Programme before deciding whether they would like to continue on to Silver. From there, a small number of promising boxers will be selected to complete the Gold programme which will see them take part in a boxing showcase in the National Stadium. The pupils have so far shown a great sense of enthusiasm and respect during the sessions – maith sibh!
