October in Ruth’s 5th class
Ruth’s 5th class had an extremely busy October. We had a lovely trip to the Botanic Gardens to visit the Sculpture in Context exhibition. We kept up our daily running routine as we continue to work towards our marathon goal. We also learned all about the heart and circulatory system. We had fun doing lots of spooky themed activities including composing and performing soundtracks and making clay Day of the Dead sugar skulls. But most importantly, the class gave their teacher an amazing send-off, showcasing not just their musical, baking and speech writing talents but also their spirit of kindness, thoughtfulness, generosity and fun! Go raibh míle maith agaibh rang a cúig.
