  • Tag Rugby 2020-02-25 - 6th classes have just begun weekly tag rugby sessions with Stephen Maher of Leinster Rugby and they have already learned lots of new skills. When they are finished the programme, 5th classes will be participating in the sessions.

  • Co-operative Games 2020-02-14 - Our school’s core value for February is co-operation. Many classes used the whole school focus on co-operation as an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of co-operative games (and Michael’s class even did co-operative yoga!), which tied in nicely with our renewal of the Active School Flag. Have a look!
  • Yard Games in D7ET 2020-02-12 - Every Wednesday, our Active Committee have been co-coordinating and leading games with the younger classes. This encourages everyone to have an active break and introduces new games to try out. We have had lots of fun with ‘Bandaid Tag’, ‘Dance Freeze’ and ‘Where is the bunny’?
  • Junior Infants Nature Hunt in Grangegorman 2020-02-10 - The sun shone on the three Junior Infant classes as they went on a nature hunt last Wednesday to Grangegorman looking for signs of the changing seasons.  The children used their senses of sight, smell, touch and hearing to identify elements of nature around them indicating the end of winter and the arrival of spring.  […]
