ACTIVE FLAG ACCREDITATION.
Karen Cotter, National Coordinator of the Active School Flag, paid an accreditation visit to the school on Monday the 9th of June.
She examined the evidence of our improvements made in increasing activity levels within the school in Room 2. Karen met members of the Active Flag Committee, watched a photostory of our active school year, met with D7K organisers, enjoyed demo PE lessons and a sample of the Be Active ASAP introduced to the school this year.
The visit concluded with a Mark Sexton motivated movement session following which Karen took over the mike to deliver the big news- Dublin 7 Educate Together is being awarded the Active School Flag!
