4th class does air have matter experiment
Good afternoon parents / guardians,
I hope you have had a nice week.
We have been busy this week preparing for Maths week next week. Thanks Padraig, Katrina, Peadar and Veronica for coming up with lovely Maths week activities for our children.
Thank you to all our parents of children with additional needs who attended the meeting this morning. Thanks, Eimear, for coordinating. We hope to have another coffee morning in early December.
The school is looking for help in maintaining its website. The site runs on WordPress, with teachers and other staff posting news content. Currently an ex-parent volunteer takes care of occasional updates of its front page, policies, staff lists, etc., from material supplied by the school, with the odd bit of other admin of the site. That volunteer is looking to hand over these tasks, so if you have experience with running a WordPress site, please let me know fionnuala@d7educatetogether.com. Thanks!
Delighted to say swimming lessons will begin next week for our 4th Classes in Aura de Paul pool, Navan Rd. The children will travel to and from the pool on the regular Dublin Bus and will be back in D7 for the regular 2.10 collection time.

Our D7 girls were up against St.Canice’s, Finglas on Wednesday in the quarter final. St.Canice’s got off to the better start with a quick few scores but our D7 girls kept on fighting and never gave up. St.Canice’s had some lovely play together and it was easy to see they were well used to playing together at their club Erin’s Isle. At half time our girls were determined to have a better second half and that they did with some lovely passes put together and some good scores taken. They hassled and harried right until the very end but unfortunately it wasn’t to be for our girls.
Well done to all the girls who trained and worked so hard at their skills this year! Thanks to all the adults who gave lifts and supported over the last few weeks too!
