Junior Infants Nature Hunt in Grangegorman
The sun shone on the three Junior Infant classes as they went on a nature hunt last Wednesday to Grangegorman looking for signs of the changing seasons. The children used their senses of sight, smell, touch and hearing to identify elements of nature around them indicating the end of winter and the arrival of spring. They noticed budding daffodils and snowdrops (some already in bloom) as well as the bare trees sprouting new leaves. The children finished off their trip with some well deserved time in the playground. Hooray for spring!
