November in Room 1

November has been a really busy month for learning and discovery in Room 1. No topic being too vast to tackle, we transformed an area of the room into the International Space Station, became astronomers and astronauts, and explored the theme of space. Through stories, videos, experiments and play we discovered loads of interesting facts about our theme and imagined what it might be like to visit space. It was loads of fun! We also began the Jolly Phonics programme, learned all about bia (food) in Gaeilge and moved on to the numbers 2 and 3 in Maths. Have a look at some pictures from our month below!
