Intercultural Day

We had a great Intercultural Day. We learned about all the different cultures in our class and located the countries on a map. We had three wonderful visitors who told us fascinating stories. Satomi told us “The Rolling Riceball” story from Japan. Adam told us the Kenyan story about how the zebra got its stripes. Ljubisa told us a story from Serbia about a shepherd who can understand animals. We loved hearing the stories and we drew beautiful illustrations to go with them. We even got to try some Japanese riceballs (they were delicious). Thank you so much to our visitors.
