World Book Day
On Thursday 5th March, everyone at D7ET had great fun celebrating World Book Day. All pupils were given book tokens and stickers and had the opportunity to dress up as characters from their favourite stories. The costumes were amazingly unique and creative (that includes the staff’s costumes)!
Each class celebrated the day in a variety of interesting ways. Some of the exciting things that were happening included creating beautiful book displays on doors and outside classrooms, buddy reading sessions with other classes, talking and writing about favourite books and creating a book recommendation display. There was even a book café!
