From The Archive: SchoolTour
These pictures were taken in May 2006, when the current 4th Class were in 1st. They went to Lullymore Heritage Park, Rathangan, Co. Kildare with their teacher, Noreen for their school tour. The park is located in the Bog of Allen, and combines educational experiences with recreational fun.
It was obviously a memorable experience from their comments. “We went on a train…no, it was a bus…it was in Kildare, in a bog, it began with a T…it had a strange name…there were fairy houses…there was a bridge with a ghost or something…it took an hour to get there…they had these houses from like, way back, like a long time ago…ask Edel, how would we know….”
