mark Sexton came to the school on Wednesday march 26th to demonstrate effective warm-up techniques. The entire school staff and pupil contingent were there to take part, and moved and grooved to our guide’s dance beat. CEILI (Infants Classes)

Junior and senior infants had a céilí to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge. On Wednesday, senior infants learned to dance Shoe the Donkey. Then on Thursday, they taught the dance to junior infants. It was great fun!

Padraig’s Play

Padraig’s 3rd Class celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge today with a play. Jeac agus an Gas Ponaire parodied the familiar fairy tale about Jack and his beanstalk adventure. It featured songs and Irish dancing, and involved all of the class in some capacity. the play was performed for all classes, as seen here.

Cabra Parkside Sports
