October in Ruth’s 6th Class

October was another busy month, with lots of great work completed. Highlights included more great GAA sessions with Mark, the introduction of boxing fitness classes with Paul and starting the Marathon kids programme. The class really enjoyed learning about the history of our school, and looking through old photo albums, roll books, newspaper articles and yearbooks. The class went on an amazing walking tour of Grangegorman with historian Paul and learned a lot. For Halloween week, the class studied spiders and even went on a spider hunt. It was fun to dress up and celebrate the end of a great first half-term.
