EAMONN COGHLAN VISIT
As part of the D7K, Irish sporting superstar, Eamonn Coghlan was on hand today to encourage pupils to train hard.
He had some strong advice for children today, regardless of their chosen path in their futures. At critical moments in our lives, we are left with easy options and more difficult ones that could lead to greater fulfillment. When Eamonn won gold in 1983’s World Championships, he realised that returning to school in America had paid off for him.
The pace was a bit slower today. Eamonn was very generous with his time and his words, and may well inspire others here to follow their own prospective paths.
