Smock Alley Theatre 6th Class

6th Class went to see An Leabhar Draiochta in Smock Alley on March 21st.
This theatre dates from 1642, and hosted actors like David garrick. Peg Woffington, as well as works by Goldsmith and Brinsley Sheridan.
It has been revamped beautifully, keeping its old character.
The play, as gaeilge, covered the legends of Clann Lir, Cu Chulainn and Fionn, while maitaining a sense of humour.
“It was enjoyful”
“A brilliant example of an Irish play”
“bhi se go brea”
