Snow Fun!
January 7th 2010 was back-to-schoolday for D7ET after the Christmas break. Unfortunately, an unusually cold weather snap resulted in a deluge of snow right across the country, and Dublin did not escape. The school braved the elements to remain open on the Thursday and Friday, until a ministerial directive shut schools nationwide for the following Monday and Tuesday. The 50% or so of pupils who did make it in during those days had to face the added misery of snow in the yard. The photos here show the difficulties they faced during their break-times.
