Marathon Kids – 3 weeks down!

6th class are now 3 weeks into the Marathon Kids Programme which sees them run a marathon distance over 8 weeks (although most are doing a lot more). There are fitness tips and warm ups provided by Olympian David Gillick and a booklet filled with all the benefits of exercise (we have so far learned about heart health and the physical and mental benefits of exercise). Fitness levels have definitely already seen a massive improvement!
