September in Susan’s Second

We’ve had a very busy September in Susan’s Second Class.

We’ve created lots of wonderful displays, to showcase some of our learning.

We started reading our first class novel, Flat Stanley, and drew pictures of him.

We discussed what science is, and then we did artistic representations of the different aspects of this fascinating subject.

We listened to John Cage’s 4’33”. These are our artistic representations of how it made us feel.

On a very rainy Friday, we helped prepare the ground for a pocket forest, which we will be planting early next year. Even though it was very wet, we had loads of fun. Can you identify the shape our pocket forest will be?
