Useful links for information about nutrition and exercise for children

A few weeks ago, as part of out Active School Flag renewal, we conducted a survey among parents/ guardians and children regarding physical activity and education. It was suggested that the school could provide some information around exercise and nutrition. Children should be getting 60 minutes of exercise per day and while they will get much of this during school time, it is also important for them to find ways of keeping actives during the evenings and weekends. A healthy, balanced diet is also key. There are some excellent sources of information available, here are just some of them.
