BLOOM
Claire’s 3rd Class recently won a class trip to Bloom, courtesy of Agri-Aware. Upon arrival we were escorted straight to the school garden for some station teaching organised by the great Paddy Madden. From there we met a farmer who tried to share some educational information on the merits of CAP but was overshadowed by the sheep, pigs and cow he had brought with him. Lastly the pupils had a tasting session in the incredible edibles tent. Some free time saw us divide and conquer the vast Bloom set up. The class were incredibly lucky in that the rain-jackets and ponchos only had to be taken out in the queue for the bus home
