Futsol 2009
In early Decemebr, D7ET took part in this year’s inter-school indoor-soccer competition, Futsol 2009 at the Aughrim Sports Hall. The teams combined boys and girls from 3rd and 4th class, with one of our teams going all the way to the final. In fact, St. Gabriel’s and
D7ET battled all the way to the end, when a controversial goal decision robbed our team of the gold medals. In any case, we were proud of our team performances and conduct: managing to be both competitive and sportsmanlike at once.
