This Privacy Statement provides information about the ways in which Dublin 7 Educate Together National School (‘D7ET’) collects, stores, shares or keeps personal information provided by visitors to our website.  D7ETNS is committed to preserving the privacy of all visitors to www.d7educatetogether.com (“our website”).  Please note this policy applies only to website visitors.  (A separate policy applies to data provided directly to the school by parents or guardians.)

We do not collect personal information about you when you visit our website.

The information we do collect is described below.  By using this site, you consent to the collection and use of the information under the terms of this privacy statement, which is in accordance with the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018, the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).  Please read the following privacy statement.

Non-personal technical web-browsing information

Non-personal technical data in relation to visits to this website is recorded by our hosting provider for statistical and troubleshooting purposes.  The information logged is confined to the following items: The type of web browser and operating system used to access our site; the Internet domain name used; the IP address of the visitor's web browser (a number that is assigned to your computer automatically when you use the internet; when you visit any web page in our website, our servers log your IP address; we may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, or to administer our website); the date and time you access our site and the visit duration; clickstream data (which shows the traffic of visitors around this web site; for example, pages accessed and documents downloaded); some of the search criteria that you are using or used to reach this site.  No information is collected that could be used to identify individual website visitors.  For example, we may count the number of visitors to the different pages of our website to help make them more useful to visitors.  This information does not identify you personally, and is retained for no more than three months.

We do not disclose, sell, or distribute this data to any third parties.  An exception to this rule would be if we are required to do so by law or court order.

Cookies

D7ET does not use any persistent cookies.  The site does use a temporary (session) cookie to record information just for the current browsing session.  The information is erased shortly after your last interaction with the website.
